The end of this movie is spectacular, because everyone finds meaning. Kip moves to Detroit, Pedro is president, Grandma is back, Napoleon rekindles a beautiful and awkward love with Deb. Even that evil Uncle Rico has his girlfriend return to him on the grassy knolls where he throws his football eternally towards his camera. It does not feel overly saccharine, or melodramatic, but feels more like an admission that everyone deserves love and to be loved.
