Batten down the lenten hatches!

Aye mateys! welcome to the next lenten preparations, ho ho ! okay i'm dropping that. Welcome to lent 2026. Like all good lenten years, I have to think ahead regarding my preparations for the year to come. While this could sit in a document inside of notion, its much more entertaining to make a big deal out of it and put it on the internet. The list will be nested somewhere else when the challenge begins, or whatever. lots of work to do.

• Fix my ipad (stuck in boot loop) so that I can continue to use imessage
• attempt to dualboot a macos on an old (or new) laptop if the boot loop is not a home fix.
• Now if THAT fails.... that would be mighty awkward. I might have to track down a friend's old macbook


• fix my kindle 3g (replace battery)
• fix my family's old zune (needs a charger, and maybe a battery replacement)
• charge / adjust my green ipod mini
• buy a thrift store ihome (nighttime podcast listening)


• write down work phone numbers
• write down friend / family phone numbers (buy address book)
• figure out how to access my voicemail box
